Sunday the 30.3. Berend Jan Sterker will start his series about social responsibility.

Berend Jan himself, a Dutch living in Austria, one of the founders of Frau Mayer, Father, Grandfather and Mentor has led a life of many interests.

He has worked with mentally Handicapped, in Security, as a certified Cook specialized in health food and macrobiotics, product development.
Did Research in how different ways of Food preparation influence its quality at the University of Wageningen in Holland.
Several years as a Facility Manager.
Ran a thematic Catering with Inge Gregoire.

Over a period of 10 years, by Franz Evers, he was involved at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag, in large scale art projects and as a guest teacher in art and food where he also did a Project with John Cage.

He is also a certified Computer and Network Engineer, Head Hunter as well as COPC certified Call Center Manager.

His first large scale initiative he took in 1981 that still exists until this day called ‘Vereniging Pander Den Haag’ while he was also active as a social worker.

With Willem Brugman he established ‘Frau van Sante’, a Citytheater led by Willem and the Restaurant by Berend Jan.

He is well informed in Chinese, Hindhu, Christian Philosophy and did several courses in Psychotherapy to round it up.

Berend Jan Sterker describes himself a collection of bad habbits – kept together by good qualities.
