1. September 2024 um 19:30 - 21:00

George Kachinsky was born on March 4, 1986 in Georgia. He spent his childhood in Hungary, together with his family, parents and brother. Since childhood he was attracted to the arts. He listened to classical music with great passion, especially masterpieces of the opera genre.

Thanks to his fluency in Hungarian language he has won several Hungarian language and literature competitions, including the National Competition in 1996 in Miskolc and Budapest.

Since childhood, his hobby was drawing, which to this day occupies a large place in his life. he had several exhibitions during his life in Hungary and after the return of his family to Georgia. Particularly must be noted in 2002 by the organization “Red Cross” held an international competition “Power of Humanism”, where his painting won first place, then his paintings (pictures) were exhibited in a gallery in Paris. He also received prizes and awards, which were sent from France after winning the competition.

Despite his great love for art,George’s musical career is very surprising and idiosyncratic.Since childhood he was fond of music, but despite this,no serious steps towards music has been taken.

In addition to art, he was involved in sports such as boxing and water polo. His life completely changed after an international piano competition. As a little boy after returning home,it was very difficult to establish contact with the society in the Georgian language, but his main language of speech, explanation becomes the music.

International piano competition held in Tbilisi, made a great impression on him, then he decided to devote himself entirely to music. 16 years old boy with admiration and condescension approached each participant, took an autograph and returned home happy. Among the participants were such famous Georgian pianists as Khatia Buniatishvili, Tamar Chitadze, Ketevan Sepashvili, Tamar Licheli, Ketevan Kartvelishvili and others.

George had to make a choice: academy of art, music or sport? But the piano competition decided everything. George began to play the piano by ear.

L.W.Beethoven-Sonata op.57 no.23 “Appassionata”, F.Liszt-“Hungarian Rhapsody” no.2, R.Lagidze-“Rondo-toccata”, J.S.Bach-Prelude and fugue es-moll, volume I, Chopin Etude op.10 no.12 “Revolutionary”.This is the program of the entrance exams, learned by ear, not by notes, score, which he did not know. Despite this, he was admitted to the College of Music No.3 in Tbilisi, because his performance of such serious works had an unforgettable impression on the committee members.
