Ivan Radivojević Quartet

Ivan Radivojević Quartet, in its current form, has been founded in 2020. The quartet, besides
Radivojević, consists of some of the most sought-after jazz musicians of the younger generation from
Belgrade, Serbia (Andreja Hristić on piano, Boris Šainović on double bass and Bogdan Đurđević on
drums) and plays original compositions by Ivan Radivojević.
The group has performed on numerous festivals and clubs in Serbia, including Belgrade Jazz Festival,
Jazz In The Garden Festival, Bazzum Festival and Telma Jazz Festival among others. In July 2022, the
quartet performed at the Jazz In Marciac festival in France as finalists of the Euroradio Jazz
Competition. The music of Radivojević is mainly inspired by the melodic approach of
Mathias Eick as well as a more expressive and daring approach of Ambrose Akinmusire. The debut
album of the quartet, titled In Plain View has been released in May 2022 by the Italian record label,
A.MA Records.
