Fu Ping Ryu Quartett

Entitled to international prizes in classical music, Fu Ping Ryu presents his compositional ideas with traditional material and modern jazz vocabulary. He obtained his masters degree in classical guitar from Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, his bachelor degree in jazz guitar from Gustav Mahler Privatuniversitat, and is currently working on his masters degree in Jazz composition in the MUK with Andy Middleton.

Andy Middleton is an American tenor and soprano jazz saxophonist. He has recorded with Ralph Towner, Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler, Renee Rosnes, Jamey Haddad, Joey Calderazzo, and Alan Jones.
After nearly 20 years in the New York jazz scene, he relocated to Vienna, Austria in 2006, where he is Professor of Jazz Composition, Jazz Arrangement and Jazz Saxophone at the University for Music and Art of the City of Vienna.
