Fu Ping Ryu Trio

Entitled to international prizes in classical music, Fu Ping Ryu presents his compositional ideas with traditional material and modern jazz vocabulary. He obtained his masters degree in classical guitar from Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, his bachelor degree in jazz guitar from Gustav Mahler Privatuniversitat, and is currently working on his masters degree in Jazz composition in the MUK with Andy Middleton.

 

He has collaborated with musicians in Austria such as Lukas Gabric, Klemens Marktl, Rob Bargard, Andy Middleton, Benjamin Schatz, Daniel Nösig, Uli Langthaler, etc.

 

He will be leading the trio and presenting traditional jazz music by Strayhorn, Dorham, Fischer, Shearing and himself.
