Samuel Rocha Trio

Samuel Rocha is a Brazilian composer and instrumentalist, born in the State of Ceará and graduated in Music from the State University of Ceará. He dedicates himself to the seven-string guitar, in addition to the musical and cultural production of his projects. He built his experiences in Brazil playing alongside great masters such as Grupo Época de Ouro, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Raul de Souza, among others and with his compositions, Samuel Rocha went on national and international tours, taking Brazilian music to France, Germany and Belgium. For Vienna – AT, Samuel presents an original show, with the participation of Brazilian musicians who reside there, in addition to the instrumentalists from Ceará who accompany him in the show, Paulo Maurício (clarinetist) and Ray Douglas (trumpeter). The show has a strong influence from Jazz, characterized by improvisations, in Brazilian genres, such as choro, baião, xote and gafieira.
